Raltitrexed is an inhibitor of DHFR.Potent antimetabolite antineoplastic agent. Selective thymidylate synthase inhibitor. Inhibits cell growth (IC 50 = 9 nM, L1210 cells). Folic acid analog. Inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis. Shows antitumor effects in vivo.
