It displays more potent antitumor activity than 17-AAG (mean GI50 values are 53 and 123 nM for 17-DMAG and 17-AAG respectively).A\xa0potent Hsp90\xa0inhibitor (IC 50 =\xa062 nM), can\xa0bind to the ATP-binding motif and inhibit the protein chaperoning activity.
